PRICELESS SA, SAAPA & HEALA meet in Scotland
PRICELESS-SA researchers and advocacy partners from the South African Alcohol Policy Alliance (SAAPA) and Healthy Living Alliance (HEALA) met at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland from February 18-21.
The meeting was held to plan a research project about the commercial determinants of health in sub-Saharan Africa, with a focus on three unhealthy commodity industries: alcohol, ultra-processed food and fossil fuels. Research collaborators and advocacy partners from Ghana, Kenya and Scotland were also part of the planning meeting
