PRICELESS SA Researchers at the Developmental Origins of Health and Disease (DOHaD) World Congress 2022

In August 2022, Aisha Moolla and Agnes Erzse attended the Developmental Origins of Health and Disease (DOHaD) World Congress held in Vancouver, Canada. The congress’ overall theme was “social and environmental disruption in DOHaD: successful interventions for a healthy future”. Aisha presented the results of a cost-effectiveness analysis of extending the South African Child Support Grant into pregnancy, while Agnes engaged with congress attendees through a poster presentation entitled “What Values Drive Communities’ Nutrition Priorities in A Low-Income Township In South Africa” and an oral presentation on the “Social Needs of South African Mothers and Pregnant Women around Nutrition in a Low-Income Urban Area”.
