Global Diet and Activity Research (GDAR) Network Spaces Project was held on the 21st May 2025

The third and final stakeholder consultation for the Global Diet and Activity Research (GDAR) Network Spaces Project was held on the 21st May 2025. The research project focused on the complex interplay between urbanisation, climate change, and unhealthy commodities in driving non-communicable diseases in cities in the Global South. The discussions were led by the PRICELESS team: Darshen Naidoo, Bontle Mamabolo, Yolanda Chekera-Radu, and Prof Sue Goldstein. The consultation explored local-level policy responses and corporate political activity, emphasising the need for integrated, context-sensitive strategies in low- and middle-income countries to address these overlapping public health challenges.
