Dr Natasha Banda is a medical doctor with nearly a decade of clinical experience across both the public and private health sectors. After completing her MPH with a focus on Health Economics at the University of the Witwatersrand, Dr Natasha Banda shifted her career from clinical medicine to research, driven by a passion to solve the systemic resource challenges that hinder patient care. Her academic work has centred on the economic evaluation of digital health interventions, with a particular emphasis on electronic medical records, and she has gained practical experience in digital health implementation through previous professional roles. Her research interests include economic evaluation, digital health, health financing, and broader health systems strengthening, with a commitment to advancing evidence-informed decision-making in health policy and practice
