Dr Dimakatso Senthebane is a public health researcher with over 7 years of experience in cancer and non-communicable disease research, evidence synthesis, and scientific writing across academic, policy, and medical communications settings.

She holds a PhD in Medical Biochemistry, with research focused on cancer biology, and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Health Economics at the University of the Witwatersrand. Her work integrates biomedical and public health perspectives to better understand the structural and economic factors influencing health outcomes. She has extensive experience translating complex cancer and health research into scientific manuscripts, technical reports, and policy-relevant outputs.

Her current interests include health economics and strengthening evidence-informed decision-making to support more effective and equitable health policy in South Africa.
