Mark Kumwenda is the Finance Manager at (SAMRC/WITS Centre for Health Economics and Decision Science - PRICELESS SA based at the Witwatersrand University, School of Public Health.
Mark is a professional accountant trained at various institutions and holds an undergraduate degree in Commerce from Oxford Brookes University & Damelin Campus, as well as a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of South Africa with specialisation in International Finance Management. Mark previously served in an acting capacity as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Finance respectively at National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA).
He previously served as an Accountant at Barloworld Logistics Pty Limited.
Prior to moving into the corporate world, Mark worked for a number of NGO’s focusing on grant management, budgetary management, risk assessment and financial management.
