Agnes Erzse

Agnes Erzse is a Senior Researcher at the SAMRC Centre for Health Economics and Decision Science/PRICELESS SA. She holds a BA in Anthropology and an MSC in Global Health and Development from UCL. With over 40 policy-relevant publications in peer-reviewed journals, Agnes specializes in nutrition-related non-communicable disease prevention, public engagement for priority setting for nutrition, and healthier food and nutrition environments. She is an Expert Committee member for the development of the South African School Nutrition and Beverages Guidelines, a collaboration between UNICEF and the Department of Basic Education. Agnes is currently pursuing a PhD at the Wits School of Public Health, focusing on the investment value of social needs interventions to improve maternal and child nutrition in South Africa.
